34-year-old Alvaro Deleon was shot and killed inside his home on November 22, 2009 by 18-year-old Pedro Gaeta. After shooting and killing Deleon, Gaeta left America and went to Mexico, where he stayed for 5 years before being arrested as he tried to come back to America to go to San Diego. Gaeta was seeking revenge against Deleon. He said Deleon vandalized a car and house that belonged to Gaeta's brother. He was charged with first-degree murder.
