In late 2018, an elderly couple by the names of David and Mina Swan were found deceased in their home in Clearwater. They were discovered by Mina's daughter and a neighbor across the street after some neighbors voiced concern that neither of them had been seen in a few days. After investigation of the crime scene, it was determined that it was a murder, and it seemed that it was not a random act. Officials noted that the back door was unlocked (This is how the daughter and neighbor had initially gotten in to check). As of this posting here on April 6th, 2021 the case is still ongoing with no viable suspects.
