Yvette Lydia Morin, 28, was found with fatal gunshot wounds inside the basement suite. Donat Albert, 53, has been charged with manslaughter with a firearm, careless storage of a firearm and obstruction. Police have since determined two men allegedly broke into the suite that evening, armed with knives, and demanded valuables from Albert. Police originally thought one of the robbery suspects discharged a gun, but officers have since determined it was Albert who allegedly shot the weapon during the ordeal.
