Sisters Doris Bean, 81, and Loretta Allen, 76, were bludgeoned to death in their home during a burglary. They had lived in the house for 50 years. Charles Dorval, Jr. was convicting killing Loretta Allen. Police believe an accomplice bludgeoned and stabbed Doris Bean, but no one has been charged with the crime. Dorval's former roommate, Jerry Millard, was originally also charged with the murders but charges were dropped. Both Dorval and Millard had done yardwork for the sisters.
