Ryan Jones, Adrian Stallworth, Dusty ‘Frosty’ Abel and Cory Paul Bates reportedly tortured Byard ‘Dakota’ Moore, 22, to death at Jones’ house in Lawton, Oklahoma, on June 16, 2019. Bates alleged that Moore had molested his daughter. Stallworth told police that Bates hit Moore with a lead pipe “three or four times.” Stallworth told police at that point he realized someone was going to have to “clean it up” and that he could tell Moore “Wasn’t going to make it.” Stallworth then reportedly told police he used zip ties on Moore’s hands and feet and used a bicycle peg as a gag to keep him from “being too loud.” Moore was moved into another room when Stallworth told the others in the home to go upstairs because “less is better.” He and Abel then allegedly wrapped a bag around the head of Moore, and tied a bungee cord around his neck, leading to his death. Moore's body was then driven to a rural area and dumped in a pit. Diesel was poured on Moore's body, and he was lit on fire. He was missing for about two months before his body was found by police, and it took police nearly two weeks to identify the body because of how badly it was burned. All 4 men were arrested in connection with the murder.
