Resident shoots himself on the front porch of his house: Early on the morning of January 29, 2007, Craig Crawford went to his front porch, sat down, and quietly shot himself. A neighbor passed by, walking her dog. She would pass by again a while later, heading back home when she realized that Craig was sitting in exactly the same position and his head looked wrong. She approached the driveway, when she realized he had been shot. Craig had been contemplating suicide for months, maybe years, and spoke of shooting himself outside so as to not cause a mess in the house.
