This home is known locally as “The House of Horrors”, as two young women were dismembered here. This sordid tale began when the torso of missing teenager, Rori Hache, who was pregnant at the time, was found in Lake Ontario, about a month after she vanished. One year later, plumbers were working in the home of Adam Strong when they discovered a flesh like substance in the pipes. When police confronted Strong, he admitted that he tried flushing body parts down the toilet, and that the rest of the body was in his freezer. Upon further investigation, the police found the DNA of Kandis Fitzpatrick, an 18-year-old who went missing a decade earlier, in the basement. Adam strong was convicted of the first-degree murder of Rori Hache, and manslaughter of Kandis Fitzpatrick. He was sentenced to life in prison in 2021. In July 2022, investigators returned to the home after suspicious clothing was found. A new family now lives in the home. The investigation is ongoing.
