The house is torn down now, it's a parking lot for Manitoba Teacher's Association (I think) When we rented the house that stood there for atleast 75 years before, there was a ghostly presence within the home. We would see visions of a person in the living room. In our bedroom, the closet doors would open and shut on their own. I lost my curling iron, a butcher knife, and a pair of shoes. So my husband and I would tease each other, scared and hiding under the covers when I would say If we see someone with curly hair, wearing high heeled shoes, and holding a knife - run!! We called him "Oliver", because he was all over the house. We heard from the owner that a man had murdered a little girl in the home many years earlier. Maybe 70. We didn't stay in that house for long! IT had a creepy basement like a tunnel, with lots of walls and rooms and an entrance of it's own, coming up from the back yard.
There was a haunting in this house, but IT is gone now, and so is the house, and so am I. I learned lessons of life there…. “Oliver”, our ghost, murdered a little girl in his lifetime who was 71 years of age. My front door opened when I would go to leave the house! I heard my husband crying one night, and asked what was wrong…. And it was her, “Molly”, the little girl. We hid under the sheets until morning. We called the ghosts “Molly and Ollie”. I was forgetful, and my things went missing…. A Holy Spirit contact I met with told us that this spirit was trying to make it up to the little girl, so he stole my curling iron and make-up to dress like her mother, who was still alive…. And that he drove a red car in his youth, that he purchased from a friend. My husband saw a red car in the living room, and lost three shoes before we left. This taught me forgiveness, and to count blessings.
