On Dec 01, 1971, Indianapolis businessmen Robert Hinson, age 30, James C. Barker, age 27, and Robert Gierse, age 34 were found with their hands and feet bound and their throats slit. Each man's body have been left in a different room with Hinson and Gierse in separate bedrooms and Barker in a bathroom. On Jan. 14, 2008, two Indianapolis mothers and their young children were shot to death as they cowered behind a bed at 3283 Hovey Street. Gina Hunt and Andrea Yarrell, both 24 when they were killed, had been close friends since grade school. Both had young children. Hunt had three children, including 23-month-old Jordan.
