Quoted from original police record: Man shot to death: Traylor, Lawrence - Age 27 - Colored - Shot to death at 5:05 PM, in the kitchen of his home, 2708 LaSalle St., by his wife, Geneva Traylor, whom he attacked with a large knife when they quarreled about his staying out all night. On 9/1/26 Geneva was held by the Coroner for manslaughter. 2 Dist. Sept. 1926 No Bill.
