Nick would also leave beakers that he worked in around the house, and they would be washed in the dishwasher and put into the cabinet for his niece and guests to use, without their knowledge; additionally, hoarding was a huge issue in the home and dishes would regularly be piled to the point of being unmanageable. Mold would also grow in cups and food that was left out, as he worked at a Carls Jr. at the time and would often bring home soda and food for himself, and the cat Nick owned did not have fresh litter to use. I assume that the reader can assume what came from that. The power was also occasionally cut off due to a supposed lack on money on Nick's part, and he wouldn't let anyone pay for the bill. I remember what little food was in the fridge was left to rot for upwards of a month, once. I would cook soup on the fireplace, since I didn't have anywhere else to cook or anything else to eat.
