Police found Cynthia Marie Aviles' body Sept. 28 in her La Esperanza apartment after her employer called concerned that she hadn't shown up for work. Her boyfriend, Norris Rashid Dail Sr., and their 4-year-old son were missing, having last been seen leaving the previous night. The boy was found safe with family in Maryland, but not the father who has been named the suspect. He has a history of domestic abuse. A murder warrant was issued for him, and he was found dead in Baltimore woods Oct. 12 with a single gunshot to the head believed to be self-inflicted.
