Mae Rubenstein, 12, was stabbed to death in the kitchen of her home. Upon returning from shopping, Mae's mother Anne Rubenstein, 41, was also confronted by the attacker and stabbed to death in the front foyer. There were no indications of robbery or sexual assault. The case remains unsolved.
