August 7th, 1998

37-year-old Warren Baucom W/M was stabbed to death at this residence on August 7, 1998, after getting into a fight with 45-year-old David Campbell, who stabbed the victim to death. At the time of his death, Baucom was wanted by police and featured on Tulsa's Most Wanted for charges on first-degree burglary and stalking. Campbell surrendered to authorities a few hours after the murder and was arrested.

57-year-old Edwin Thornton died in a house fire on December 8, 2013, around 3AM. There were 3 people inside the house at the time, including Thornton. The other two were able to make it out but Thornton did not. Firefighters found Thornton in a closet behind the front door. Investigators believe Thornton thought the closet was the front door, and went in it, but was overcome by the smoke and passed out. He later died after being pulled out of the house. View Listing »

The roommate came home to find the backdoor kicked in and saw blood on the floor and so he left and called the police. Police soon identified the killers as 18-year-old Victor Casarez and 17-year-old Primo Urquiza.
