Quoted from original police record: Woman beaten to death: David, Ethel M. Age 26 Died from a skull fracture received at 4:10 PM, 11/7/30, in a flat, 2nd fl., 468 W. 28th St., home of William Fisher, who hurled some object (candlestick or glass) which struck her in the head. There had been a fight. On 11/17/30 Fisher was booked for manslaughter and the same day held by the Coroner on that charge. 19 Dist. 1/15/31 Acquitted Fisher.
