Edmonton Police say the two people found dead in a vacant home by a realtor were both shot to death. In a statement, the Edmonton Police Service said the medical examiner has determined that both the man and the woman died as a result of gunshot wounds. Police are treating their deaths as homicides. The police also released the names of the victims: Irfan Ahmed Qureshi, 37, and Suzanne Marie Tran, 27. Both victims have a criminal past, with Qureshi having serving 5 years. The realtor discovered the bodies in a home in southwest Edmonton and immediately called police. Staff Sgt. Bill Clark told police that officers have some "good ideas" about what happened to the pair. He refused to go into detail.
