1960-1964
I grew up around the corner from this house and one night during those years there was murder in that house... the husband and the wife were fighting as there was always a lot of drinking and other things going on in that house.. and we awoke to the sirens and sights of police cars and etc... they were fighting an d he chased the wife down the house stairs with a knife and stab her... we as kids were amazed to see all the blood on the street the next day.. we were in awe of the blood.. there was lots of activity in the area due to prostitution , bootlegs etc,, Rebeca street, Wilson st, and surrounding area... with the Police station just a block away... amazing that all that happened
