Man found dead in apartment: Jose Rodriguez, 68, was founded stabbed to death in his apartment. Rodriguez' body was found when a co-worker went to his apartment building and asked for his door to be opened because he had been missing for days. After a foul smell was noted, police were called, and officers discovered Rodriguez' naked body on his bedroom floor covered by furniture, luggage and clothing. Melvin Simon Mitchell, 24, confessed to the murder, along with the murder of another man, Curtis Dugray, 51, in a separate incident.
