In the early morning hours on March 4, 1993, a paper deliveryman called 9-1-1 to report an apartment fire in the 8700 block of Granville Street. When firefighters arrived, they found a body inside the burned-out apartment. The deceased was identified as Jillian Fuller and the police investigation quickly revealed she died as the result of an assault and that the fire appeared to have been deliberately set to cover up her murder. Detectives have worked diligently on the investigation, but to this day no arrests have been made and the case remains unsolved.
